The Convergence Resource Center (CRC) is a not-for-profit, 501(C) 3 faith based, community service organization, established in April 2004.

CRC’s founders have over 25 years experience in prison ministry teaching Bible studies, conducting Sunday morning and evening worship services, and coordinating retreats and seminars.

The CRC was birthed out of a cry from the women at Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center. They wanted to make sure they lived the lives they had committed to while

incarcerated. We count it a privilege to come along side them in this venture.

Guided by the belief that many of the challenges facing our community can best be corrected when those who live in the central city and urban communities assume greater personal responsibility for their quality of life we strive to make a difference. Although all of our services are provided free of charge to the women, we fully expect them to work harder at their advancement than we do.

We believe that each woman is a Work of ART (Avoid Recidivism Track) and we encourage her to grow socially, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually under the framework of sound Christian teachings. As part of our Customized Resource Services, each woman is assigned an ART Facilitator.

Each work of ART and her ART Facilitator (AF) identify the areas of her life that put her at risk. Along with our Empowerment and Service Partners we aid her in re-integration. By helping our Works of ART become self-sufficient, responsible and productive members of the larger community we all win.
